PPG INDUSTRIES, INC. Manufacturing Senior Operations Leadership in Delaware, Ohio
We are actively looking for people leaders who can motivate, champion the PPG culture, and lead a diverse operational team focused on complex manufacturing processes for multiple Manufacturing Leadership roles in our Ohio area plants. Our plants are large-scale, manufacturing environments with multiple product lines, large teams and multi-million dollar assets. We have open roles at multiple Ohio facilities and will report directly to an on-site or regional manager. Responsibilities, depending on level/location, may include: Develop an Engaged organizational culture that is committed to operational and manufacturing excellence. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and guide resulting change programs through lean manufacturing and six sigma concepts. Promote a safety culture and monitor and review Environmental, Health, and Safety performance to ensure compliance and swift, corrective response to critical issues. Support associate personal and professional development. Guide the root-cause analysis for critical issues and ensure that all corrective actions are completed, sustained and yield the predicted results. Engage a diverse group of partners across the facility and with corporate or business leaders to ensure appropriate communications and agreement on goals. Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, engineering, or MBA 10+ years of industrial operations or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. 5+ years of team management experience Experience leading Capex projects Experience with the production of resins, paints, coatings, or technical films Six Sigma or Lean certifications PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
