Cashmans Horse Equipment Drive-Thru Associate in Delaware, Ohio
Cashmans Horse Equipment located in Delaware, OH is seeking an enthusiastic Full Time Drive-Thru Associate to join our expanding team. We are one of the nation's oldest continuously operating Drive-Thru Feed and Equipment stores specializing in Equine and Livestock Products for over 45 years. We are looking for team members who can provide friendly and knowledgeable service while maintaining and organizing inventory within the store, in the warehouse, and out on the lot. Essential Functions:

Customer Focused:
- Greet customers every time they enter the store and take the time to understand what they need and help them find it or get them to a manager that can assist with more complex requests
- Create a rapport with customers, understanding where they are from, what kind of animals they have and how many, and what kind of farm they have can help when answering questions
- Communicate current store promotions and make suggestions for customers based on their needs
- Ask customers to join our Community -- e-mail list and encourage them to follow us on social media and provide them with print materials and resources

Service:
- Work with integrity, follow store procedures, take ownership of products, transactions, and paperwork
- Confirm correct pricing on products via access of our computer system and pricing books
- Confirm inventory of product prior to selling or loading
- Conduct daily maintenance of the sales floor to reorganize displays and maintain an easy to shop environment
- Be prepared to load customer orders in the Drive-Thru, assist taking product to vehicles, hand loading product from warehouse or lot

Inventory/Maintenance:
- Receive inventory, tag, and place merchandise as instructed
- Unload inventory off truck, load inventory for shipments and events
- Daily maintenance of store, warehouse, lot, and surrounding areas
- Operate forklift and golf cart to move inventory (training available)

Personal:
- Be on time for scheduled shifts and take ownership of timecard
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including Saturdays and Events
- Adhere to personal appearance policy and dress appropriately for outdoor weather conditions
Establish a positive and respectful relationship with co-workers and create a positive work environment
Minimal Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent attitude, math/currency aptitude, and communication skills
Ability to continuously stand/walk, frequently push/pull/bend/reach, climb a ladder and lift/carry up to 50lbs
Preferred:
- Customer Service / Outdoor Retail Experience
- Inventory Experience
- Forklift Operation Skills
- Experience with Equine, Livestock, and/or Agriculture
