Willow Creek Adult Day Care LVN in Del Rio, Texas
Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
- Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide wound care, dressings, and other treatments as ordered.
- Observe and document changes in patients' conditions, reporting concerns to the RN or physician.
Documentation and Communication:
- Accurately record patient care and treatments in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams regarding care plans and patient progress.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
