JOB OVERVIEW: Maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems to facility and production machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Tests, monitors, performs technical troubleshooting, adjusts and repairs systems and equipment.
- Install, replace or repair conduit, wires, switch boxes, controllers, lights and all other electrical components as needed to repair services in existing structures.
- Maintains complicated electrical and electronic systems and equipment used in various processes including but not limited to: temperature controllers, AC/DC drives, instrumentation, HVAC systems and CNC milling machines.
- Designs, writes and troubleshoots basic level PLC programs.
- Occasionally uses PLC systems to troubleshoot control systems and network communication interfaces.
- Performs or assists with other maintenance trade tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year minimum experience
- Ability to use tools of the mechanical and electrical trade, including the use of power machinery, hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC and computer operated machinery.
- Knowledgeable with respect to NEC rules (National Electric Code) and have the ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and specs.
- Must be able to read and understand electrical, schematic diagrams and mechanical component drawings.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
