We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems. As an Automotive Technician, you will perform routine maintenance and major repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair:
- Perform thorough diagnostics using computerized diagnostic tools and manual techniques to identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, exhaust systems, and other vehicle components.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
Maintenance and Preventative Care:
- Provide customers with recommended maintenance services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including battery checks, fluid changes, air filter replacement, and wheel alignments.
Customer Service:
- Communicate clearly with customers about the necessary repairs, maintenance, and estimated costs.
- Advise customers on the best maintenance practices to prolong the life of their vehicles.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing professional and courteous service.
