Position: Training Technician

Key Responsibilities:
Confers with management, supervisors, and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies
Coordinates training schedule with the hiring and training demands of 24 Hr Safety and customers
Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works
Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
Tests trainees both internal and external to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training.
Reports and/or documents on progress of employees/customers under guidance during training periods
Assists employees with problems concerning "how to" perform specific tasks related to their positions
Makes suggestions for improving work procedures and Maintains trainee personnel records
Develops strong relationships with internal customers to develop course materials and receive feedback
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Employee must be able to distinguish between colors.

Key Requirements:
High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong computer skills
Two plus years medical surveillance training experience preferred
Willingness to train CPR/respiratory protection, Fit-Testing, PFT and/or MEQ preferred.
Must have a familiarity with OSHA regulations for industrial training.
Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Current TWIC card holder a plus
Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicle
Travel a must
