In this role as a Maintenance Mechanic you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of manufacturing equipment used in the production of custom labels, shrink sleeves, and flexible packaging. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment including digital and flexographic presses, die-cutting machines, shrink sleeve applicators, and other packaging machinery.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.

• Repair or replace defective components to ensure equipment is functioning optimally.

• Maintain maintenance logs and records, documenting repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.

• Inspect and test equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning.

• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address equipment performance issues that may affect product quality.

• Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment as needed.

• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and equipment necessary for repairs.

• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.

• Assist in developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize equipment downtime.

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests to address urgent issues that could disrupt production.
