The Financial Accountant for Leica Biosystems is responsible for consolidation reporting and ensuring consistency and compliance with all Accounting and Control practices. You will also play a role in global ad hoc projects as well as strengthening our existing financial control infrastructure.

You will be a part of the Global Corporate Team and report to the Global Controller responsible for all finance process of the OPCO. If you thrive in a fast paced multifunctional, varied role and want to work to build a world-class Finance organization—read on.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Consolidate financial statements to US GAAP, validating all corporate adjustments and supporting documentation.

• Internal financial reporting including internal results of operations, specified items, balance sheet and applicable analysis, oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual tax processes, including transfer pricing.

• Championing the Company’s continued financial stability through a focus on driving integrity in the closing process, internal controls, cost discipline and forecasting accuracy.

• Identifies, recommends, and actively participates in business process improvement opportunities.

• Ad hoc global projects.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting

• 3+ Years’ experience in preparation and analysis of financial statements

• Knowledge & experience of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) SAP or comparable ERP system experience

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
