Responsibilities:

Ensure the achievement of logistics goals according to internal and external customer expectations

Drive the implementaiton of programs and initiatives to minimize logistics cost and optimize inventories and delivery performance

Initiating and implementing the process improvements and productivity measures, to secure the plant and BU targets

Plan, control and optimize the availability and qualification of the necessary logistics man power in order to assure the success of the organization.

Involvement of the global Supply Chain Management Cluster for staffing of logistical key functions within Vitesco Technologies.

Assessing particular risks and market opportunities for the progress of business, in order to avert possible damage or prevent problems by taking suitable measures.

Requirements:

Experience at a multinational manufacturing company, preferably within the automotive industry.

Experience at logistic management (including Logistics policies, systems and processes)

Fluent English skills (written and spoken).

Strong leadership skills (at least 3 years).

Experience with Focus Custom/Import/Export/Transportation/Warehousing Processes

Experience in working with international teams on Logistic topics

Understanding for different foreign cultures (NAFTA, Asia, several European cultures)
