In this position...

The EDS / Module Header Connections and Components TS Position is needed to lead the evaluation, development and robust design/implementation of advanced technologies/materials, and future connection/termination systems.

The EDS / Module Header Connections and Components TS Position is needed to lead the evaluation, development and robust design/implementation of advanced technologies/materials, and future connection/termination systems. The increase in Electrical & Electronic features and systems and complex Electrical Architectures for both Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) EDS has led to significant wire harness Connection Systems (e.g., Connector Housings, Bulk Wire, Flat Wire, Terminals, Materials, Sealing, etc.) design complexity and packaging challenges. The scope of EDS Connection Systems design and development spans hundreds of HV and LV components over many global vehicle programs. Further, growing adoption rates in EVs, multiplexing, and high-power components increase constraints on vehicle packaging necessitating the need for advanced technologies in EDS Connection Systems (e.g., Specialty Cable Connectors, Module Header Connectors, Harness Inline Connectors, Bulk Wire, Busbar, etc.) to facilitate Connector Standardization, module/component size reduction and optimal harness routing in this environment. The EDS / Module Header Connections and Components TS Position is needed to lead the evaluation, development and robust design/implementation of advanced technologies/materials, and future connection/termination systems.
