Supply Chain Center of Excellence is seeking a talented candidate to join the Supplier Relationships and Diversity Business Office to support the development and implement strategic initiatives. The position will interface with other stakeholders outside of Ford Supply Chain including Corporate Strategy, Product Development, Business Associations (EPLM) etc. as well as outside consultants and OEM Partners.

In this position...

  • Implement and oversee ongoing change management of the global Supply Chain Supplier Partnership Framework.

  • Establish a Rewards & Recognition program celebrating our successes with our Supply Partners.

  • Develop and operationalize our Buyer Professional Code of Conduct defining our working relations.

What you'll do...

  • Lead Ford-Supplier partnerships initiatives (framework, scorecard, strategic supplier and collaboration programs, etc.) and implement new initiatives across the Supply Chain and Industrial Platforms.

  • Lead interaction with OEM partners and provide Supply Chain input to OEM partnership contracts.

  • Work with external consultants, information providers and internal stakeholders to understand and provide insights to the organization through benchmarking, business intelligence and data analysis.

  • Communicate complex analysis and recommendations to highest levels of leadership.

  • Support Supply Chain Executive Leaders change management workstreams.

  • Understand Company priorities and business problems and translate them into business workstreams and solutions.

  • Collaborate and build networks with key stakeholders and business leaders to provide strategic business solutions.

  • Support terms & conditions rollout to Suppliers.

  • Project manage ad-hoc global strategic projects as they arise or are identified.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science or related field.

  • Direct buying experience: Operational (Operations, Category Implementation) and Strategic (Core, Central, Category Manager).

  • Robust presentation storyboarding skills to create impactful communication to share data and insights.

  • Broad understanding of Supply Chain Systems, Policies, and Procedures.

  • Strong Business Acumen, Strategic Planning and Critical Thinking.

  • Global Automotive Industry knowledge including OEMs, Suppliers, Supply Chain, Value Chain, Strategic Partnerships, Commodities, Business Models, etc.

  • Courage to lead and change.

  • Self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail while demonstrating the ability to work effectively in unstructured environments.

  • Persuasive and convincing communication skills (e.g., proposals, reports, plans) to secure commitment from business leaders.

  • Able to communicate clearly and solve open issues in a timely manner.

  • High degree of trust; ability to build solid relationships with teammates, suppliers, and cross-functional team members by fostering teamwork and collaboration in a virtual or face-to-face environment.

  • Proficient with juggling multiple responsibilities simultaneously, staying focused on deadlines, and handling complex projects efficiently.

  • Has a flexible mindset and pays high attention to details when working in ambiguous situations.

  • Identifies and solves problems objectively using analysis, experience and judgment.

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8 .
