Job Title: Software Requirements EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Software Requirements Engineer with expertise in software development for embedded systems. Our Body Control Software team develops software for vehicle features such as starting, locking, lighting, alarms, windows, powered enclosures, cabin climate control, and seats. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications to meet customer needs. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, including designing software architecture, testing for quality, and deploying the software. You should have detailed knowledge of functional specifications, conduct design reviews, and help resolve vehicle/breadboard issues.

Hard Skills

• 5+ years of engineering work experience

• 3+ years of experience in Algorithm Design for Embedded hardware and/or software design

• 3+ years of experience with control theory and algorithm design via truth tables and finite state machines

• 1+ years of vehicle network (CAN/LIN) experience

• 1+ years of experience in Matlab/Simulink

• Project Management experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products

• Matlab Simulink, JIRA, JAMA, and Github experience

• Familiarity with CANalyzer, AutoSAR, and Functional Safety

• Working understanding of CAN and LIN vehicle networks

• Familiarity with cybersecurity and message authentication

• Experience in working with, and/or for, an Electronic Control Manufacturer
