Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer for one of our automotive clients. This is a junior position, and our client is looking for someone that will be responsible for creating a dedicated UI on the frontend with React/Anuglar about 30% of the time. The majority of the candidate's time will be writing backend microservices for the new cloud-based application using C++ and Python.

Compensation:

$30/HR to $40/HR

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• 1+ year of experience as a Java Developer writing microservices on the backend utilizing C++, and Python

• 1+ year of experience using Cloud-based technologies (GCP, AWS, PCF, etc.)

• 1+ year of UI development experience utilizing either React or Angular - HTML,CSS, or any other web application development

• Siemens PLM experience

• Experience migrating legacy applications

• Previous automotive work experience null
