We're looking for Principal Developers who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of innovation!

In this role, you'll be the architect of cutting-edge test automation and tools, building the foundation for our cloud and in-vehicle applications and operating systems.

Think of it as building a fortress of quality! You'll be working with top-notch cross-functional teams to launch game-changing technical solutions that will ensure the software powering our vehicles is nothing short of flawless.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining test methodologies, automation frameworks, and tools that will redefine how we test new features, functionality, and Over-the-Air updates. You'll be the master of test automation, making sure our new product line releases are rock solid.

  • Collaborating directly with Development rockstars, Technical Program Managers, and Project Managers. You'll be a key player in a high-powered team, ensuring quality is woven into the very fabric of our applications and platforms.

  • Leading the charge towards a quality-centric development process. You'll be the champion of automation, driving us closer to 100% test coverage.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ year proficiency in a programming language like Python, C#, C++, or Java

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in modern software development methodology, such as pair programming, test-first/test-driven development OR demonstrated delivery of singular focus programming.

  • Demonstrated success creating evolutionary architectures with appropriate operational characteristics: scale, reliability, security, performance, etc.

  • Project leader for the execution of strategies for test design, planning and execution methods, and automation scripts used for requirements verification purposes, at multiple integration / solution levels.

  • Guide and contribute to incident resolutions and reporting, including Preventive Actions implementations into the Test Strategy.

  • Guide and contribute to defining Test Management Strategies (tools and processes selection / creation) used by the test teams on the planning, execution, and reporting phases.

  • Promote code artisanship best practices, quality and security standards; and ability to lead/contribute to the improvement of them.

  • Advanced professional experience with Software / Requirement Verification projects (Test Suite and Automation solutions for multiple Verification / Validation scopes and Integration levels).

  • Experience in architecting and implementing Test Strategies.

  • Experience proposing technical direction for Design Verification framework solutions.
