The Software Engineer Senior will serve as a core member of an engineering team that designs and develops software applications, provides application design and development of microservices, APIs, custom web-based interfaces and other software applications per business requirements. Manages the environment including servers, database, configuration and security in accordance with best practices. Develops software tools in the field of Test data management using industry standards such as ASAM ODS, TDD, Software Craftsmanship, Agile iterative development. Troubleshoots application and performance issues in GCP.

Interacts and work closely with product leads and business to devise solutions and break them down into incremental production-ready user stories. Identifies exciting opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges. Grows technical capabilities and expertise and provides guidance to other members on the team.

Responsibilities

• 6+ years of software engineering experience as full stack developer using J2EE, Java Angular, SQL, Elastic, BigQuery, APIGEE, Pub Sub messaging services.

• Experience managing and deploying applications in GCP, using Tekton, Terraform, CI CD pipeline.

• Performance tuning and optimization in GCP using Dynatrace, Cloud logging and monitoring.

• Experience with REST API methods and implementation of web services in a distributed architecture system.

• Demonstrated ability to learn and become productive in new technologies quickly

• Experience helping troubleshoot application and performance issues

• Experience in automated testing concepts, tools, and frameworks

• Willing to pair program, work on a highly collaborative team, fulfill different roles and fill gaps

• Agile mindset

• Proactive attitude and not afraid to ask questions

• Strong desire to help and be more efficient and build solutions that make the team more productive and increase quality confidence

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 12 years), or an associate degree with a minimum of 6 years of equivalent work experience

• 6+ years' experience in full stack software development using Java, Angular.
