  • Renew raw material pricing agreements through negotiations with suppliers to obtain the most competitive bulk prices for duration of agreement.

  • Lead Raw Material supply risk discussions with suppliers to ensure current production is supported with no supply disruption and that any expediting costs are appropriate.

  • Support for commodity purchasing in T1 Raw Material shortage issues, escalating within the supply base to protect supply.

  • Drive Supply Base Optimization with cross functional team (PD, Materials, Research) for raw material suppliers to ensure appropriate suppliers are in the base.

  • Lead as SME of Raw Material purchasing process to educate buyers, Tier 1 suppliers and cross functional teams

  • Complete annual PEL rate updates and provide to Cost Estimated to be used in GRIMM database for future model programs

  • 3-5+ years of experience

  • Strong analytical skills (sourcing evaluations, business case studies)

  • Strong negotiation skills (creating leverage in both offensive and defensive situations)

  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain policies, procedures, and systems

  • Skilled communicator with ability to influence (at all levels) through both written and verbal formats

Even better, you may have...

  • Strategic mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture

  • Capability to build networks across multiple skill teams

  • Proactive nature to address issues with initiative

  • Strong sense of ownership with ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous work-streams

  • Ability to maintain focus & drive for results in dynamic business environment
