As part of the AIT And Security Identity and Access Management team, the position requires someone capable of managing multiple, complex development and operations tasks, and who is proficient across multiple disciplines (planning, design, requirements gathering and validation, system design, development, configuration, testing and CX). Due to the business-critical and global nature of the ePAM (Enterprise Privileged Management platform), this position provides an outstanding opportunity to engage with, deliver value and gain exposure to Global business units, JVs and Technology teams, including but not limited to: Ford Credit, Ford Pro and Model e, Ford Blue, Manufacturing, IT Operations, Application Development, Employee Experience, Enterprise Connectivity/Network teams and Cyber Defense

What you’ll be able to do:

  • Responsible for engineering, implementing, and operating various security services within Privileged Access Management

  • Identify and mitigate threats, handle Identity Access Management Release engineering, provisioning and maintenance of infrastructure, system administration and security tools

  • Implementation of DevSecOps development processes, continuous integration and continuous delivery, application infrastructure engineering and operations support and continuous feedback/improvement for BeyondTrust Password Safe, EntraID/Azure AD, Privileged Identity Manager

  • Lead development of ePAM SOPs, conduct risk assessments, respond to internal and external and customer audits while ensuring ensure all actions comply with Security, GAO & Ford IT policies, and best practices.

  • Responsible for SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) to ensure the highest Quality of Service for the ePAM platform

  • Collaborate with Global ePAM team, IT service teams, customers and vendors to triage and resolve operational Incidents within target KPIs

  • Design, test and execute robust Change Management processes.

  • Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans; perform Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity testing in compliance with Ford IT Policy and Auditor requirements.

  • Develop/deploy rigorous monitoring and observability tools to ensure maximum availability instantly detecton of issue within the Platform.

  • Maintain documentation of all administrative processes, procedures, and configurations.

  • Interact with team members to improve tools, technology stack, and application performance and stability.

  • Resolve issues and concerns through collaboration with customers, engineering SMEs, and product vendors.

  • Propose, configure, and implement enterprise solutions (covering both process and technical aspects) according to established standards and industry best practices.

  • Lead the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of software, technical infrastructure, and services (all aspects of the technology lifecycle)

  • Develop implementation requirements for technical infrastructure and services.

  • Develops project charters and/or project requirements (cost, timing, scope, contingency, and risks)

  • Develop support and deployment plans for technical infrastructure and services.

  • Develop and maintain automation tools and processes to reduce complexity and provisioning time for Platform services and customer applications, decrease/eliminate manual request processes and reduce risk

  • Oversee the ePAM platform codebase and deliver continuous improvement to bring Ford closer to an frictionless, Zero-Trust environment

  • Conduct rigorous testing and deployment of vendor product updates with robust change control processes and a goal of zero business impact.

  • Identify and mitigate bugs/security risks with vendor products while delivering enhancements and integrations that meet/exceed customer expectations.

The minimum requirements we seek :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology OR equivalent experience in the IT Security field

  • 2+ years of Identity and Access Management experience

  • 3+ years of IT DevSecOps experience

  • 5+ years of IT experience

Our preferred requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with employees and management at all levels

  • Highly motivated individual with strong Information Security, Shift Left and Compliance skills

  • Ability to rapidly identify and resolve problems in a complex enterprise environment with multiple technical interdependencies.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail

  • Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple technical and operational tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure under pressure.

  • In-depth understanding of security domains, with a strong emphasis on Privileged Access Management/Identity and Access Management.

  • Experience with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and Monitoring and Observability tools such as DynaTrace and Splunk

  • Experience with CI/CD Pipeline development and integration.

  • Hands on experience of PERL and Python programming.

  • Hands on experience of developing, integrating and maintaining API workflows.

  • Hands on experience with the following O/S, DB and Platforms: Windows (server and client), SUSE, RHEL, Solaris, MS SQL, Oracle, Teradata and vSphere/ESX

  • Proven experience of developing automation tools/scripts with Perl, BASH, PowerShell

  • Proven understanding of Authentication and Directory Services, preferably within the Microsoft platform

  • Ability to learn new technology quickly and train others.

  • Demonstrable ability to work within a globally dispersed team environment.

  • Proven track record to develop and document requirements.

  • Ability to solve complex issues with little minimal mentoring.

  • Experience with and Agile development and tools such as Rally and JIRA
