Trident Program Manager

A successful candidate will develop implementation plans for integration into forward model vehicle and serve as the primary point of contact between the GRIDRACK team and the Vehicle Program teams. The candidate will also interface with the GRIDRACK team to develop the portfolio and with the Ford Component Sales team to deploy in their distribution channels. The role requires a candidate with a strong product development background with excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

What you'll do...

  • Develop plans for GRIDRACK implementation into forward model vehicle programs

  • Help plan and execute various joint pilots with external partners

  • Help plan and execute GRIDRACK product portfolio definition activities

  • Develop partners relationships and support market tests

  • Support GRIDRACK displays and demos at industry events and trade shows

  • Gain approval to add GRIDRACK products and vehicle provisions to Vehicle Program assumptions and financials.

  • Regularly develop and present high-quality, clear presentations to upper management for each program documenting key elements - assumptions, costs, use cases, issues

  • Gather inputs and perform business case analysis for vehicle provisions and products

  • Lead regular interface meetings with each vehicle program teams and functional areas to advance the GRIDRACK agenda

  • Lead identification, tracking and resolution of issues together with stakeholders

  • Host product demonstrations and sales pitches with program teams and other related stakeholders

  • Help set up GRIDRACK demo areas as needed in program zones

You’ll have..

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance or other relevant discipline

  • 4+ years work experience interacting with vehicle program teams and delivering to vehicle program milestones

  • Proven ability to consistently be proactive, highly organized, hard-working and conscientious with ability to diplomatically drive consensus and closure to issues

  • Ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the products as well as communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Desire to work in a start-up like environment - small team, making sense out of ambiguity, flexible and adaptable attitude

  • Coachable, resilient demeanor and eagerness to learn

  • Creative mindset that can envision future possibilities, but ability to develop practical solutions.

Even Better, you may have

  • Advanced Degree in engineering, business, finance or other relevant discipline

  • Mechanical or Electrical automotive-related product development background

  • Planning and Strategy, Program/Project management or Vehicle Integration experience

  • Powerpoint communications skills, Excel and JIRA and Confluence experience

This position is a range of salary grades SG6-SG8 .
