Location: DeSoto, KS Employment Type: Full-Time
Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a Welder/Machinist, where you will contribute to the production, repair, and maintenance of high-quality machined, cast, or fabricated components. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on environment, utilizing your expertise in welding, machining, and equipment repair.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform layout, fitting, and welding of machined, cast, or fabricated components.
Set up welding equipment and execute MIG, TIG, STICK, soldering, Oxygen & Acetylene, spot welding, and heat-treating tasks.
Repair damaged machinery components and maintain production equipment.
Inspect completed parts to ensure compliance with specifications, utilizing precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
Collaborate with Quality Control and other departments as required.
Follow all safety protocols and company personnel policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of machining experience.
Skilled in manual machining.
Proficiency in using precision inspection equipment and interpreting technical specifications.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Requires prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting at the waist, and reaching at or above shoulder level.
Work performed in a manufacturing environment.
salary: $48,000 - $52,000 per year

Responsibilities
Lay out, fitting and welding of machined, cast or fabricated components.
Set up welding equipment and weld components. Should be fluent with MIG, TIG, STICK, soldering Oxygen & Acetylene as well as spot welding and heat treating.
Repair damaged machinery components.
Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet requirements and work on production equipment.
Ability to use precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers and indictors is necessary and interface with Quality Control and others as required.
Follow all safety and personnel policies.
Other duties as assigned.
