Location: DeSoto, KS Employment Type: Full-Time

Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a Welder/Machinist, where you will contribute to the production, repair, and maintenance of high-quality machined, cast, or fabricated components. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on environment, utilizing your expertise in welding, machining, and equipment repair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform layout, fitting, and welding of machined, cast, or fabricated components.

• Set up welding equipment and execute MIG, TIG, STICK, soldering, Oxygen & Acetylene, spot welding, and heat-treating tasks.

• Repair damaged machinery components and maintain production equipment.

• Inspect completed parts to ensure compliance with specifications, utilizing precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators.

• Collaborate with Quality Control and other departments as required.

• Follow all safety protocols and company personnel policies.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Experience:

• 5+ years of machining experience.

• Skilled in manual machining.

• Proficiency in using precision inspection equipment and interpreting technical specifications.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

• Requires prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting at the waist, and reaching at or above shoulder level.

• Work performed in a manufacturing environment.

salary: $48,000 - $52,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fitting and welding of machined, cast or fabricated components.

• Set up welding equipment and weld components. Should be fluent with MIG, TIG, STICK, soldering Oxygen & Acetylene as well as spot welding and heat treating.

• Repair damaged machinery components.

• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet requirements and work on production equipment.

• Ability to use precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers and indictors is necessary and interface with Quality Control and others as required.

• Follow all safety and personnel policies.

• Other duties as assigned.

5+ years machining experience
