Shift : Nights

The role you’ll contribute: The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within a patient care unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Demonstrates effective assessment skills to ensure quality patient care.

· Performs and documents accurate initial assessment per unit standard.

· Consistently develops an appropriate plan of care for patient from admission to discharge.

· Establishes appropriate implementation of nursing actions to ensure competent nursing care is delivered.

· Effectively evaluates the nursing plan of care to ensure safe, competent delivery of care is provided.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

· Active Florida RN license or active multi-state RN license

· 3 years of acute care hospital experience

Other requirements :

· Must be able to work at AdventHealth Daytona Beach and at least one more location.

· Must be able to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period and at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

· Must be able to work 3 holidays per year (two major and one minor as determined by department)

Preferred qualifications :

· Experience preferred: PCU, ER, ICU, Med Surg and/or CDU Observation

· 2 years of traveling or agency nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
