Sr Quality Engineering Technician

As a Sr Quality Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products in our Dayton, OH location. You will work closely with the Quality Engineering team to perform various testing and inspection activities, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the success of our quality control processes and the overall satisfaction of our customers.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on our quality control operations by conducting thorough inspections, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions. Your ability to identify and resolve quality issues will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of product quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards

• Analyze test data and identify trends or patterns that may indicate quality issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary

• Maintain accurate documentation of test results, inspection reports, and other quality records

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and procedures

• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Manufacturing Technician or a similar role

• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools

• Experience with inspection and testing techniques

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications• Root cause analysis, problem solving, corrective action and implementation

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification

• Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
