Premier Health SR FINANCIAL ANALYST-PPN in DAYTON, Ohio

General Summary/Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Analyst reports directly to the PPN Director of Finance and works closely with the PPN Vice-President / CFO as well. The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing accounting and financial support services for Premier Health Specialists, Inc. (PHS), MVHE, Inc. (MVHE), Samaritan Family Care, Inc. (SFC), Upper Valley Professional Corporation (UVPC), UVPC Specialists (UVPCS) and the Premier Urgent Cares. Such services include accuracy of all financial records, financial reporting, internal control, payroll monitoring, accounts receivable, provider compensation, benchmarking, and other financial services.

The purpose of this position is to help manage, organize, and plan all accounting, finance, provider compensation and billing functions for the physician network. Areas of responsibility include establishment of policies and procedures to ensure proper budgeting, taxes, third party reimbursement, general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and other analysis required to actively manage all companies included under the PPN umbrella. This person must be able to communicate technical financial accounting concepts to all non-financial directors, physicians, and managers. Qualifications

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor's degree

Prior specific functional responsibilities: Prior Healthcare setting experience as well as Leadership Experience

Knowledge/Skills

  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in developing and presenting business plans, models, and financial forecasts to CFO, finance leadership, Executives, and other key stakeholders.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Able to see the big picture and pay attention to detail while striving for accuracy and operational excellence.

  • Ability to work with other teams on complex problems or assignments where multiple approaches may be needed for success.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership qualities.

  • Strong excel skills including the use of advanced formulas and pivot tables.

  • Knowledge of database software is a plus.
