You will support a small, highly empowered team at our Dayton, OH location where every team member is directly responsible for the success. MTSI is expanding our mission modeling capability based on growing customer requirements in the National Defense sector and requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform a variety of software development tasks in the AFSIM modeling environments, including discrete event simulation, mission model operation, and post-processors of model data. In this role, you will utilize your AFSIM plug-in development experience to support integrating systems, subsystem, and component models into AFSIM for modeling applications. Responsibilities As a Junior AFSIM Developer with MTSI you will utilize your AFSIM plug-in development experience to support integration of externally created systems, subsystem, and component models for aerospace applications. This position is located in the Dayton, OH area. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Integration of low-fidelity parametric models, algorithms into AFSIM to assess and verify system characteristics and capabilities within the TMAP modeling ecosystem. Documenting all software and hardware characteristics and changes to: Existing and new simulation environments. Test architecture design and test planning. Experimental design and test execution. Data collection and analysis. Report generation. Interact with the customer to gather requirements, related reporting, give progress updates, etc. You will provide technical information and analysis to recommend solutions and influence decisions. You will distill and communicate technically complex material to senior decision makers. You must be a self-starter who can execute development procedures on a demanding schedule with minimal supervision.
