Description LinQuest is looking for a journeyman-level software engineer to support the horizontal integration of multiple USAF open architecture standards. Our team leads the charge in USAF open architecture development, maturation and coordination. Responsibilities: * Prototype and assess feasibility of horizontal integration efforts across open reference architectures * Coordinate experiments, assure complimentary lines of effort, and produce final leadership-level outbriefs of experimentation results to inform horizontal integration decision making * Break up scope of broad cross-cutting activities into prototype-based work to reduce risk and identify opportunities across open architectures and standards * Act as the technical owner of the Air Dominance Government Reference Architecture (GRA) Starter Kit which includes: MBSE model, documentation, and reference software * Perform technical leadership of an industry consortium as a CLIN lead Required Skills & Experience: * BS in a technical field (Prefer computer science or electrical engineering) * 3+ years in software development * Experience with C++ development in a Linux environment * Experience with MBSE and DevSecOps toolflows and design activities * Experience with modern commercial software development practices using tools like GitLab, Jira, Artifactory, and Nexus * Experience with collaborative software development in either open source or professional team environments.
