ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY As a potential Financial Systems Business Analyst Subject Matter Expert, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH. This potential role will be critical in supporting the Air Force Financial Systems Office. Join us and be part of our mission to make a difference!
SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Develop and conduct requirement reviews.
- Translate conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner for developers/project team.
- Perform functional acceptance testing.
- Investigate and perform root-cause analysis to resolve system issues.
- Facilitate change management and implementation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (or 10 years' experience).
- Familiarity with Air Force Permanent Change of Station (PCS) processing, accounting, voucher processing, and entitlements.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Direct experience with data collection and analysis.
- Experience testing and mapping business processes.
- Ability to understand technical discussions, to analyze and solve problems and to create documentation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize, work accurately, and meet deadlines independently and as part of a team.
- Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and have the ability to obtain a favorable National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) clearance.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Business Analysis such as CCBA, Program Management, or Organizational Change Management (OCM) certification.
- Awareness of Air Force PCS regulations and instruction such as DoD FMR, DoD 4500.9-R, DAF manual 36-2102, and Joint Travel Regulations.
