Job Summary

Provide financial reporting, analysis, and ad hoc support to Morrison Operations Support teams (Retail, Culinary, Nutrition & Wellness, Patient Solutions). Works closely with Operations Support and finance team to help drive financial performance and company KPIs. Continuously improve processes to increase capabilities and capacity of the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Generate a set of monthly reports for leaders across the Operations Support teams

  • Help develop and deliver executive level presentations that summarize monthly performance, complex analyses, and case studies

  • Help manager with retail pricing reviews, initiatives, and food cost analysis

  • Develop tools and reports to aid retail pricing and analytics

  • Support FP&A team and provide expert analytical support

  • Provide Human Resources/Finance compensation analysis and reporting

  • Understand the trade-off between units, sales and gross margin

  • Manipulate, query, and analyze very large data sets where imperfect information may exist

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Accounting or other quantitative subject preferred. MBA or advanced degree favorable. 1-3 years of previous work in Finance or related field preferred.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to learn very quickly and independently

  • Ability to solve analytical problems using complex quantitative approaches

  • Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and interpret complex data

  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and VBA.

  • Ability to query databases, utilize statistical software a plus (i.e., SQL, R, Python, Qlik)

  • Strong communication skills and professional business acumen

  • Ability to build relationships and work cross functionally with business partners
