Dayton Children's Hospital Dietetic Assistant - Part Time - 1st Shift in Dayton, Ohio

Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Clinical FoodsSchedule:Part timeHours:20Job Details:The Dietetic Assistant ensures that every child requesting a meal from the Room Service program receives a meal that is within the limits of their diet order and does not contain any ingredient that would be harmful to their health. This often involves communicating with dietitians and nurses, consulting food labels and writing special diets. The Dietetic Assistant functions as a communication center for Room Service personnel, dietitians, and other professionals within the hospital with regards to special dietary needs. The Dietetic Assistant also takes and enters orders and gives instructions to the Room Service employees in the Supervisor's absence.

Department Specific Job Details:

Shift varies: 5:30AM - 2:00PM and 10:45AM - 7:15PM, rotating weekends and holidays.

Education Requirements:

GED, High School (Required)
