The Center works to achieve health equity through new approaches anchored in data, outcomes, and evaluation across the clinical to community continuum.
21st Century Community Learning Center Teachers are responsible for developing and implementing academic learning in reading and math, including science, technology, engineering, and math, using the program’s evidence-based instructional curriculum. This position integrates instructional efforts with the work of assistant teachers or co-teachers. This position is responsible for interactive, dynamic, and fun learning that reinforces the classroom day instruction, addressing gaps and building upon strengths. Prior assessments and benchmark tests provide the data which drives instruction for students and the class in aggregate.
This is a temporary position dated from October 7, 2024 - May 10, 2025.
Department Specific Job Details:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree – specializing in education preferred
Experience:
- 1-3 Years preferred
Certifications:
Experience teaching required
Certified or licensed teacher in the state of Ohio preferred
Skills:
Proven communications skills, especially with PCs and MS Office products required
Strong verbal/written/organizational skills required
Able to handle multiple tasks and set priorities required
Experience with collaborative projects required
Passionate instructor who believes in potential of students.
Excellent communication skills working with students and parents
Able to use learning technology for classroom activities, including remote learning preferred

Location: Kiser Elementary School
Days & Hours: M-F, Flexible before and/or afterschool

Total Commitment: October 7, 2024 - May 10, 2025
Pay: $25/hr.
