Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager Location US- ID 2024-1532 Category Professionals Position Type Full-time Regular Remote Yes Overview Woolpert's Digital & Design Technology Discipline is seeking a BIM Manager to join and help lead our rapidly expanding team. In this dynamic role, you will help lead and manage a fast-paced and fun work environment under the guidance of our Discipline Lead. Alongside our discipline leaders and specialists, you will support a wide range of project teams focused on mission critical, civic & industrial projects. You will work on all phases of project work ranging from New Construction and Mixed-use/Renovation Buildings projects setup and management, reality capture point cloud data management for Scan-to-BIM conversions, extending to construction administration support for clash detection and VDC management. You will collaborate and help plan projects and workflows closely with our industry-leading architecture and engineering teams. This position would support full-time in-person, hybrid, or full-time telecommuter working arrangements; however, candidates in areas geographically located near any of our main Woolpert vertical design offices may be given preference. Responsibilities You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our company's BIM standards, leveraging our innovative design technology platforms and tools. We take pride in staying ahead of AEC industry trends concerning technology, selectively phasing out underperforming applications. Our technology stack incorporates both proprietary and third-party platforms along with several advanced Autodesk Revit plug-ins. Our team maximizes the use of current Autodesk Cloud services and engages our production teams with Autodesk ACC/BIM360 technology. Key Responsibilities: Lead BIM coordination efforts among the entire project team from initiation through to closure, working closely with the architectural design group. Foster close collaborations with Project Managers, assisting in the development of proposals and contracts to ensure seamless integration of BIM protocols. Drive the creation and updating of Revit project templates, promoting advanced Revit practices to enhance project efficiency and quality. Engage in sophisticated problem-solving, particularly in response to unique problem statements from clients that necessitate advanced technological solutions. Advocate for and ensure adherence to BIM best practices, Project BIM Execution Plans, and standards. Utilize advanced collaborative tools like Navisworks and Autodesk ACC for multi-disciplinary coordination in a BIM-centric environment. Provide expert guidance and coaching to personnel on BIM implementation, applications, and advanced technological problem-solving. Qualifications Profound proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including: Advanced understanding of Revit Family creation. Mastery of Revit troubleshooting. Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (Admin Modules, Project Template Management). Proficiency with Revit Add-ins (Ideate, Guardian, BIM Track) is considered an asset. Dynamo skills are advantageous. Exceptional technological problem-solving skills, particularly in response to complex client requirements. In your capacity as the BIM Manager, you will also develop and maintain robust relationships with key Directors, BIM Coordinators, and external providers such as design consultants. Your expertise will make you a primary point of contact for project troubleshooting in Autodesk Revit and its associated applications, add-ins, and utilities, as well as for addressing intricate client challen
