Are you a highly-skilled avionics professional ready to take your aviation career to next level? Join our team! As an Avionics Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for moderately complex installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals.

Must-haves:
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to understand and interpret basic applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings
Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques
Must have reliable transportation to and from work locations
Must pass, written, oral and practical assessments
Ability to speak, read and write in English
Must have own tools in good working order
Tools will need to be shadowed and inventoried in toolbox
Must be able to pass an occupational physical that includes a hearing and vision test To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL
Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope, and/or pitot static equipment
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
Ability to install and maintain fiber optic cables and systems onboard military aircraft according to MIL-STD 1678.
Experience on wide body aircraft, including but not limited to, Boeing 767, 777, and 747
Proficient in basic computer operation
