Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for setting up repairs, rebuilding, and installing production equipment to ensure continuous production of all products. This role involves repairing malfunctioning production equipment such as fillers, conveyors, drives, coolers, palletizing, and boxing components. Additionally, the mechanic will install new equipment or replace existing equipment as required and set up lines for product changeovers. The Maintenance Mechanic will act as the primary technical leader on the shift, responsible for all planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and reducing downtime due to equipment failure. This role also includes training operators to recognize and report potential equipment malfunctions and failures, as well as assisting with preventive maintenance.

This is a fully on-site position in Dayton, New Jersey.

Work Environment

GMP food and beverage company. Strict adherence to no jewelry, makeup, or long nails on the floor. The attire is pretty casual.
