Our client is seeking a Quality Reliability Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Reliability Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting product development and quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a steadfast attitude towards safety, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Reliability Engineer

Location: Davis, CA (Hybrid - three days a week onsite)

Pay Range: $80,000 - $107,000

What's the Job?

• Facilitate a "design for the test" approach to product design and development.

• Determine tests and criteria to qualify new and revised product designs.

• Participate in failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) teams to identify high-risk components.

• Assist in developing and maintaining an efficient and reliable BOM and drawing generation process.

• Assess supplier quality and reliability practices and drive improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.

• 3-7 years of quality, process, and/or supplier development experience, preferably in the subsea industry.

• Basic knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems and components.

• Experience with statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and qualification testing.

• Strong collaboration skills with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers.
