Compensation range: $74,360 to $102,245. Based on our Davis & Sacramento office locations. (West Yost uses geographic salary differentials that would apply for candidates in other regions).
LOCATION: Our preference is for this position to sit in our Davis or Sacramento office locations. We will consider candidates in our other California office locations. (https://www.westyost.com/locations/ ).
This is a Hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

DELIVERABLES & PRJECT SUPPORT MANAGER
BASIC JOB FUNCTION
The Deliverables and Project Support Manager plays a vital role in leading a team of qualified and motivated individuals in support of both projects and quality work products (or deliverables). This role includes supporting project teams and technical staff with a focus on document management, project management support, and administrative assistance. This position involves proofreading, formatting, and ensuring the accuracy of technical documents and reports, as well as preparing tables and compiling figures. Project management support includes assisting in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and communication platforms, ensuring smooth project execution. Additionally, this role provides critical administrative support for internal and external client communications and coordinates with sub-consultants to ensure all project objectives are met. This individual will work closely with Project Managers to maintain quality control, streamline workflows, and contribute to the success of each project from initiation to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage the team and resources, acting as a central point of contact for all team activities and coordinating with the PPM Business Sector Leader.
Plan for, prioritize, and assign team workload, organize daily schedules, and delegate tasks to team members.
Motivate and oversee employee performance; support team members in their career growth and development.
Work within and outside of the business sector to streamline deliverables and other project support processes and reach team goals.
Proofread and format project-related documents, including reports, technical memoranda, letters, and presentations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
Prepare tables and figures, and combine material from various sources for technical documentation
Provide high-level administrative support to technical staff for internal and external client communications.
Assist project teams in achieving project scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
Support project managers in workload planning and forecasting for project teams.
Manage and update project schedules, informing team members of schedule challenges.
Implement and maintain project budgets, alerting project managers to any potential shortfalls.
Prepare monthly invoices and progress reports for project manager review.
Update and maintain project communication platforms like SharePoint and file-sharing sites.
Develop project templates, workflows, and controls in support of QA/QC processes.
Develop and implement change management strategies, including changes to the workplace, work practices, shifts in desired behaviors, protocols, culture and technology.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and/or Experience
2+ years’ experience in a workload management, team lead, or supervisory role.
10+ years’ experience in project support, document control, and document review.
Familiarity with navigating AI assisted-platforms such as Co-Pilot, Chat GPT, Gemini, etc.
Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note, SharePoint, Adobe or Foxit PDF, and Deltek.
Highly developed document and graphic imagery editing, proofreading, and technical writing skills with strong attention to detail.
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Friendly and professional demeanor.
Prior experience in professional services firm.
Excellent skills in time management and organizing, written and verbal communication, and internal and external collaboration.
Strong personal initiative.
Ability to effectively progress on multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating a consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals.
Demonstrated ability to set and meet deadlines.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree or higher
Prior experience in the environmental engineering field.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Deltek.

The base work week and core hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00 PM.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
This position may require travel to other offices and/or client offices. Applicant must carry a valid driver's license. Applicant must also be able to meet West Yost’s rules and be eligible to drive for business. West Yost’s insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
