BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Senior Analyst for the Commercial Incentive Compensation (CIC) team you are responsible for executing audit, reconciliation, reporting, finance objectives and analysis of all data that flows through the CIC. This role will work with the CIC team to manage the delivery of incentive compensation on a monthly and quarterly basis. You will be lead on answering questions directly from the Sales Team regarding their Incentive Plan as well as communication and training the sales team on incentive compensation. You will also work directly with Finance, other areas of Sales Operations, and Sales Leadership to continue to improve processes, reporting, and analysis for data used in incentive compensation programs.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead the monthly and quarterly financial reconciliation process for all sales teams. · Execute and maintain the monthly and quarterly commissions audit process for all sales teams. · Develop/execute incentive compensation analytics to determine incentive compensation structure efficacy and determine if modifications are warranted. · Regularly audit sales data to ensure data integrity and identify areas of opportunity for process improvement. · Facilitate Variable Compensation Exception Process. · Respond to inquiries as the Subject Matter Expert of VC Plans to Sales Associates. · Reconcile all systemic associate hierarchy to ensure alignment between all systems.
· Coordinate quarterly internal and external audit activities with Internal Audit Team. Comply and
execute requests made to complete audits.
· Collaborate with CIC team to develop new reporting opportunities and automated solutions for
reconciliations and audits
· Assist with organizing the development of Dashboard enhancements in Commission Software.
· Design and administer incentive compensation plan training and training documents for sales team.
· Perform data analysis and concept modeling to Sales Leadership Team in a digestible way that
shares outcomes and recommendations of solutions to business needs.
· Serves as Incentive Compensation Lead/Subject Matter Expert to various MSC associates and
teams, specifically related to sharing analytical research and results, implementation plans, and potential payment impacts to associates.
· Completes data and analytical requests necessary to support the development, implementation, and performance measurement of various sales compensation projects and initiatives.
· Work closely with Commercial Operations Manager and Manager, CIC to complete adhoc analysis for Incentive Compensation concept modeling.
· Assist with special projects assigned to the CIC team and perform additional duties as required.
· Commits to driving the MSC culture throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field required
· 5+ years of experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, Finance, or similar analytical roles
· 4+ years of operation experience is preferred.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel user with strong analytical skills
· Attention to detail and ability to drive process improvements
· Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
· Strong experience engaging and partnering with cross functional teams and communicating at an executive level
· Strong understating of basic accounting principles is a requirement
· Experience with commission planning a plus
· Experience with Tableau and/or Alteryx a plus
· Experience with Callidus (SAP ICM) or a similar sales compensation platform a plus
· Experience with Audit Compliance a plus
SKILLS:
· Demonstrated proficiency in structuring complex problems, developing solutions, and crafting recommendations into easily digestible messages and communications
· Ability to define, aggregate, and analyze metrics to assess performance drivers
· Ability to work independently and lead deliverables in a fast-paced environment
· Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting issues and identifying timely resolutions
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
· Excellent presentation and oral and written communications skills are required
· Excellent organizational skills with strong commitment to follow-through required
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
· A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time may be required.
· This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).
Compensation starting at $65000 - $97000 depending on experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
