Our Center for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability (CEES) connects our internal ESG activities and external stakeholders. CEES works to instill sustainability into our corporate culture by integrating sustainability practices into our everyday business operations. CEES is looking for an experienced sustainability manager who is an independent self-starter with strong attention to detail, a strategic and organized subject matter expert, and a candidate who shares a passion for to contributing to our company mission to Challenge what’s possible for a sustainable world.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability programs aligned with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
Program manage identified CEES essential operations including councils, external organizational alignment, reporting timelines, awards and events, stakeholder resources, white papers and standard work development
Collaborate with internal departments, including operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance, to integrate sustainability practices into business processes.
Manage third party sustainability reporting, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders including CDP and DJSI
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sustainability to inform program development and implementation.
Develop and deliver training and educational programs to promote sustainability awareness and engagement among employees.
Represent the company at industry conferences, workshops, and other events to share best practices and learn from peers.
Prepare and present sustainability performance updates to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
Foster relationships with external partners, including NGOs, government agencies, and industry groups, to support sustainability initiatives.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related engineering field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability program management or a related role.
Strong understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and corporate social responsibility.
Proven experience in project management, including planning, execution, and evaluation of sustainability initiatives.
Sustainability reporting experience, preferable CDP and other technical reports
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks and tools (e.g., GRI, CDP, SASB).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental and social impact.
PMP, and other program management type experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, SharePoint etc.)
Travel up to 10%
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $100,000-$140,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
