BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: At MSC, we are significantly growing our integration capabilities and recruiting innovative Integration Engineers who can continuously evolve our platforms toward our Integration as a Service strategy. We are looking for a self-sufficient, collaborative individual who can drive results across MSC bridging business and technical areas. This is an opportunity to integrate and orchestrate business solutions that offer a seamless partner and associate experience aligned with MSC’s digital transformation. MSC is interested in candidates with active listening skills to work across departments to understand what business leaders want to gain from their end-to-end integrated solutions. This role requires a significant set of hands-on technical skills including in-depth experience with multi-source data and system integration technologies, services, APIs and platforms.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs and develops resilient interfaces using various technologies, services, and platforms.
Develops critical business interfaces leveraging standard components, adaptors, and libraries as well as configuring, coding, orchestrating, and scheduling to achieve a robust end-to-end solution.
Actively participates in cross-functional team activities working closely with the user community to identify and prioritize solution and improvement opportunities.
Assesses problems and solutions from a business perspective focusing on what customers really need.
Incorporates test driven requirements into the design, automates testing, and instruments for exception handling, alerting, and monitoring.
Develops and supports new and existing integrations and services, refining business and technical requirements, documenting interfaces, developing blueprints for reusability, and testing to validate solution quality.
Understands the criticality of securing and controlling access to PII data; especially sensitive PII data.
Addresses integration and data support issues with urgency; ensures resolutions solve root cause.
Participates in workings sessions to evolve best practices and standards that improve security, operations, performance, quality, and delivery pipelines.
Operates with a one-team mindset mentoring and educating team members and business users.
Provides accurate estimates for proposed solutions and takes ownership of those estimates.
Lifelong learner in technology, security, platforms, design patterns, and methodologies.
Fosters the MSC culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose.
Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related information technology discipline. Certifications and equivalent experience also considered.
Minimum of five years of experience in a digital or information technology development role.
Minimum of three years of experience working with high volume integration platforms such as SAP CPI, Boomi, MuleSoft, Apigee API Gateway, Sterling Integrator (including Managed File Transfer), MQSeries or similar solutions.
Minimum of three years of experience in SQL and NoSQL data management platforms such as MongoDB, Cloud SQL, BigQuery and Redis as well as traditional relational databases.
Minimum of one year of experience leveraging cloud-based solutions and technologies on hyperscalers. Google Cloud platform preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience with SuccessFactors or similar HCM and one or more of the following: Workforce Software, Active Directory, SAP S4HANA, Salesforce.com, iSeries, and other Cloud or on-premises applications.
Experience in leveraging and evolving software blueprints and design patterns as well as reference models for implementation.
Exposure to DevSecOps embedding security, continuous integration and continuous development in the product life cycle.
Understanding of Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid development life cycle methodologies

Comfortable working with Office365 suite of tools or equivalent for documentation, analytics, and presentation to larger audiences.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time may be required.
This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).
Compensation starting at $73430 - $115390 depending on experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
