Job Title: Electrical DrafterJob Description

We are seeking an Electrical Drafter responsible for the cradle-to-grave implementation of electrical projects. You will design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical elements of projects from design to completion

• Update drawings and make changes for control panels

• Create, develop, and manage electrical systems and components

• Design electrical controls panels

• Order materials

• Develop and refine current standards

Essential Skills

• Experience with electrical design and integration using AutoCAD in an industrial setting

• Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering (ideally electrical)

• 6+ years of experience with AutoCAD electrical design preferred

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3D modeling skills

• Experience with PLC programming

• Experience with HMI programming software

Work Environment

This is a smaller, privately-owned company with management onsite. The company has its own brick-and-mortar facility where engineers will spend significant time on concepting and engineering work. We service a variety of industries including agriculture, grain handling, chemical processing, metals, discreet manufacturing, and pet foods. The position is hourly, making any hours worked over 40 OT-eligible.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
