Accounts Payable Specialist (Open Contract)

Starts next week!

Are you experienced with account payables, with strong transactional expertise? Are you an independent worker able to self-navigate challenges and queries? If so, we have the opportunity for you!

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable expert as they expand their team.

Main duties and responsibilities include invoicing, approval processes, and transaction coding. You'll be responsible for monitoring the company’s purchases, receipts, and expenses, and resolving any discrepancies effectively.

Candidates need to be adaptable, able to handle a high volume workload and capable of dealing with in-house network issues. Strong communication skills are also a must, to effectively liaise with various internal departments and external vendors.

Working hours: 7 am – 3:30 pm or 7 am – 4 pm. Compensation to align with experience and strengths brought to the role.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing company and help shape its accounting functions. The majority of invoice processing involves raw materials and supplies for the manufacturing group, alongside typical facilities costs such as rent and utilities.

This is an open-ended contract position for someone who thrives in working independently in a busy, transaction-intensive position. Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution would be advantageous.

Requirements

Required Skills:

Ability to take to and learn accounting software on the fly

Proficient Excel user, with ability to work with and manipulate data

Fast, accurate data entry (10key)

Excellent communication skills

Ability to solve issues independently
