PLASTICRAFT CORP Manufacturing Engineer in DARIEN, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a dynamic individual to help our company as a manufacturing engineer. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to support manufacturing operations and drive improvement and innovation. Robot, fabricating, CAD/CAM experience a plus. This role actively works across all departments within the company. Lead continuous improvement activities. Assist in training operators in new procedures. Develop fixtures/jigs to be used in the manufacturing process. Solve existing manufacturing problems. Provide technical support across all departments. Maintain and repair equipment to ensure its operational. Evaluate manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement. Establish effective and efficient work sequences. Design, deploy, validate, and document new manufacturing processes and techniques. Create and maintain accurate documentation of tool drawings, design, and concepts. Apply a working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process. Research and recommend new testing methods, manufacturing techniques, and equipment to drive continuous improvement. Evaluate alternative production methods, determine and approve proper machine, human resources, and training.
