Geisinger Manager Provider Network, Geisinger Health Plan (remote work Pennsylvania resident) in Danville, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Oversees the quality initiatives for the the provider network with a focus on project planning, project tracking, and reporting. Interfaces with various departments and facilitates project plans specific to enhancing the quality performance of the provider network asset. Creates and executes formal project plans, including project scope, project plan, task scheduling, team management, etc. Reports project progress, concerns and issues to project stakeholders and appropriate management personnel. Fosters quality customer service to internal and external clients and utilizes leadership skills to increase efficiency of successful.

Job Duties

  • Plans and facilitates regular cross-functional project team meetings, identifying key players and assigning individual responsibilities and tasks to move regulatory and key quality strategy projects forward.

  • Partners with quality improvement department for ongoing coordination of process improvement activities at a level appropriate to maintain the highest-level accreditation.

  • Creates project plans for provider quality interventions and engages leadership for input to execute.

  • Serves as the quality representative for all quality committees and initiatives.

  • Presents plans and educates the account managers on quality initiatives to execute on the road.

  • Assures standards are documented, shared with appropriate staff, and assures all supporting documents needed to meet the standard are reviewed annually.

  • Assists with the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and department workflows.

  • Tracks annual revisions as required by compliance.

  • Analyzes complex processes around provider quality incentives, access and availability, termination and network build, clearly articulates the need for change, and gains consensus for plan of action.

  • Documents analysis and input received.

  • Manages staff, communicating and assigning tasks as appropriate, providing guidance as needed, performing routine and yearly performance evaluations, plus engages, develops and mentors staff.

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Travel may be required. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
