DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position provides clerical support for our Social and Rehabilitative Service Departments, including Psychology, Social Service, Adult Basic Education, Occupational Therapy and Therapeutic Recreation.  The duties of this position include maintaining schedules for the treatment team, taking minutes for meetings, and preparing reports. You will also answer and forward incoming phone calls, prepare requisitions and work orders, type documents, and maintain inventory of office supplies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full time employment. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.  Hours may change based on operational needs. Free parking at this facility. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306 (before taxes). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
