Please view our Statement of Community.Located in Danville, KY, the historic, picturesque 150-acre campus is 30 miles from Lexington, in the famed Bluegrass Region of Central Kentucky.The Test Proctor will coordinates test proctoring for students who require testing accommodations or make-up tests with some clerical work as assigned. Essential Job Functions:Proctors’ students taking exams in the Proctoring Center;Administers exams to neurodiverse students with approved testing accommodations:Monitors proctoring center on-line reservations made by faculty members;Responds to faculty and student questions regarding test proctoring;Maintains accurate records of scheduled and completed test proctoring;Follows testing instructions provided by professors for individual tests;Adheres to Centre College guidelines for upholding academic honesty.Demonstrates an appreciation of and commitment to further an inclusive culture for those of diverse backgrounds such as ability, age, class, ethnicity, faith background, gender expression, gender identity, geographic region, national origin, neurodiversity, race, and sexual orientation that comprise individual and group expressions of identity. Marginal Job Functions:Contribute to the overall success of the department by performing all other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned.Work with other proctoring team members to meet the goals of the Proctoring Center. QualificationsEducation and Experience Experience working in a high school or college environment. Teaching experience a plus. Excellent interpersonal, management, organizational and communication skills. Ability to coordinate information from multiple people. Ability to uphold testing standards and maintain integrity of the testing situation. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of the College’s academic honesty policy and academic protocols. Ability to follow instructions. Rapport with faculty, staff and students. Comfort with computer use, word processing, scheduling programs and email. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the Dean’s staff, faculty, and students. Ability to maintain confidential records and information. Physical Requirements: Limited pushing, pulling, lifting. Lifting would not exceed 20 lbs.
