Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who will perform mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting and installations. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting and installation.

• Work alone and with a team to address maintenance issues.

• Train on the 1st shift and then move to 2nd or 3rd shift based on union placement and seniority.

• Work 5 days a week (Monday through Friday) and every other weekend on Saturdays, with occasional Sundays based on demand.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical and Electrical experience.

• Strong industrial maintenance experience.

• Electrical troubleshooting experience, including using a multi-meter to access panels.

• PLC troubleshooting experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance skills.

• Experience with 480V electrical systems.

Work Environment

This position is based in an automotive manufacturing facility specializing in the production of gaskets, with extensive metal stamping and metal fabrication processes. You will train on the 1st shift (6:45 AM - 3:00 PM) and then transition to either the 2nd shift (2:45 PM - 11:00 PM) or the 3rd shift (10:45 PM - 7:00 AM) based on union seniority. The role requires working five days a week, with additional weekend shifts every other Saturday and occasional Sundays depending on demand.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.
