Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Danvers, Massachusetts. This role is within the accounting industry, where you will be instrumental in maintaining precise financial records, handling vendor inquiries, and supporting audit preparation. Your skills in utilizing various accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning will be highly valued in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate entry of Accounts Payable invoices.

• Involvement in the execution of check runs.

• Regular review and reconciliation of vendor statements.

• Prompt response to vendor inquiries and resolution of issues.

• Maintain a well-organized filing system.

• Support the annual physical inventory process.

• Assist in posting cash receipts.

• Facilitate collection of past due receivables.

• Contribute to the preparation for annual audits.

• Carry out other accounting or administrative tasks as required.

• Provide support for year-end filings and audits. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with CaseWare software

• Knowledge of Concur software

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations
