Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Project Assistant located in Dana Point, California. This role operates within the conference events industry, where you will be expected to provide crucial support in various areas, from assembly to registration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance in setting up for conference events

• Handle registration counter duties effectively

• Assist in the operation of the event shop

• Ensure all tasks are completed within the assigned schedule

• Maintain professionalism in attire and behavior throughout the event

• Provide exemplary customer service to all event attendees

• Be prepared with personal necessities, including meals, as they are not provided

• Manage parking arrangements and validations as necessary. Requirements • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Further education or certification in a related field is preferred.

• Prior experience in a Project Assistant role or similar is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on detail-oriented interaction with clients.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and improve on current skills and knowledge.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

• Must be organized and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of project management principles and practices is a plus.
