Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Location: Dalton, PA

Job Summary: The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial and light industrial settings.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and perform necessary repairs.

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently.

• Replace or repair defective components in HVAC systems.

• Perform system tests to verify proper operation and compliance with safety standards.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

• Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and solutions.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• EPA certification.

• 3 to 5 years of experience servicing commercial and light industrial HVAC equipment.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers for process and comfort cooling.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation every 8 to 10 weeks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with refrigeration systems for supermarkets and cold storage warehouses.

• Familiarity with using small power tools and heavy machinery.

• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.

• Exposure to loud noise levels and hazardous equipment.

• Physical demands include standing for long periods, bending, twisting, and lifting heavy materials.

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00
