Talent Development Consultant

Position Overview

The Talent Development (TD) Consultant contributes to enterprise-wide change by creating competitive advantage through people while helping HR leaders develop and leverage talent. The TD Consultant enables Shaw’s workforce to operate at the highest levels of performance through consulting with HR leaders while creating and curating the right talent tools, programs and experiences. By working closely with the other talent management functions and HR leaders, this role will create, and outline talent development strategies centered around tools, technology, programs and processes that advance the performance of the business. These strategies are all related to performance management, succession planning, workforce assessment and calibration, and accelerated development programs.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with HR leaders while designing, building and implementing solutions designed to accelerate individual and business performance.

  • Assesses need and administers leadership development assessment tools such as 360 assessments, Hogan or other personality assessments and New Leader Assimilation. Coaches HR and business leaders using assessment insight to develop effective IGDPs.

  • Utilizes Workforce Assessment expertise through coaching of HR leaders and ensuring technology effectively supports enterprise needs.

  • Designs, develops and executes accelerated development experiences while partnering with the leadership development team.

  • PXA/Outward Mindset responsibilities include ensuring change management is effectively embedded in program, including the plan for “beyond the classroom”.

  • Facilitate or teach others to facilitate content such as PXA/Outward Mindset, IGDP workshops, etc.

  • Maintain a strong research-based knowledge in talent strategies and practices.

  • Assess, Design, Test and Implement improvements or new approaches to using Wayfinder Talent Tools.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, human resources or other related education or experience.

  • Knowledge of best practices in the assessment and development of leaders, and experience applying/adapting relevant talent management practices within organizations.

  • ·Demonstrated ability to build constructive, collaborative HR leader relationships across the organization.

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
