Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant in the construction industry at our Dallas, Texas location. This role involves a variety of accounting responsibilities and requires proficiency in various accounting software and skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger and ensure its accuracy

• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the company's records match the bank's records

• Record revenue accurately and in a timely manner

• Review and analyze financial data for accuracy and trends

• Participate in the month-end close process and ensure all financial data is recorded properly

• Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness

• Maintain records of the company's fixed assets

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Carry out duties related to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger. Requirements • Possess thorough knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in managing the General Ledger

• Capable of making accurate Journal Entries

• Familiar with Month End Close processes

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks

• Experience with Oracle for financial management

• Knowledgeable in QuickBooks for business accounting

• Familiarity with SAP for business operations and customer relations

• Prior experience in the construction or contractor industry is preferable

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• High degree of integrity and confidentiality

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
