(Hybrid role Tuesday through Thursday in our Plano, TX office.)
What You Will Do
Architect, design, develop, and unit test Forescout eyeSight product features to develop new functionality, improving product capability and enhancing customer experience.
Work with senior technical leaders and product management team contributing to define the authentication feature roadmap.
Work with QA, technical publication, support, and other teams to ensure high quality end-to-end product delivery.
Mentor junior members of the development team.
Rapidly learn, evaluate, and explain emerging security technologies.
What You Bring To Forescout
10+ years of industry experience in developing software with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of working experience with RADIUS, 802.1x, and authentication protocols and processing with preference on FreeRadius or similar implementation.
5+ years of experience architecting security applications involving authentication and authorization of users and devices.
3+ years of experience leading for a small development team.
Hands-on experience with two of these languages: Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, JavaScript; OOD is a big plus.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SSH, and other networking protocols.
Working knowledge of multiple security product categories such as SIEM, UEBA, CASB, VA, NGFW, ATD, PAM, or EMM.
A true startup spirit with strong "can do" attitude willing to wear multiple hats when needed.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communications skills.
