Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst with Financial Services Industry in Dallas, Texas

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in Dallas, Texas. The chosen candidate will join a team focused on corporate financial planning and analysis. The Sr. Financial Analyst will engage with various stakeholders including Accounting, Finance, Treasury and Financial systems teams to tackle complex issues that directly influence the company's internal and external financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret financial results to provide a clear business narrative

• Implement mechanisms for new reporting insights at scale, making our data more actionable

• Engage with business systems teams to drive accurate close

• Assist in the development of CEO/CFO presentations to BOD and other internal/external constituencies

• Provide valuable, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations on historic and future financial performance to the Business' leadership

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the company

• Present ad hoc business analysis and recommendations to senior management

• Serve as a key point of contact between accounting and system teams

• Own several reporting functions for close, planning, and reporting cycles Requirements

• The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Financial Analyst.

• Knowledge in Financial Services is a must.

• Proficiency in business systems is requisite for this role.

• Knowledge in using Confluence is necessary.

• The applicant should have experience in CRM.

• Familiarity with Crystal Reports is expected.

• The potential candidate should have a good understanding of Data Mining Techniques.

• Expertise in using About Time is a crucial requirement.

• The candidate should be adept in various Accounting Functions.

• Experience in Auditing is important.

• Understanding of Budget Processes is required.

• The role demands proficiency in Capital Management.

• The candidate should have experience in Budgeting and Forecasting.

• The applicant should be capable of delivering Management presentations.
